Entry Requirements for DECTE

  • Must have a minimum mean grade of C (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) (or an equivalent certificate as recognized by Kenya National Examinations Council, KNEC).

  • Candidates with disabilities may be admitted with a C- (minus) grade in KCSE (or equivalent).

  • Applicants must show proof of good moral character; typically a valid School Leaving Certificate or equivalent document confirming positive behavior.
