Since our inception in 1999, Imara ECD has empowered 2,345 Early Childhood Education teachers from 45 of Kenya’s 47 counties, shaping the future of young learners across the country and beyond. Our reach extends regionally, with trainees also joining us from Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Sudan, and Somalia.
Strong Graduate Success
We are proud to maintain an absorption rate exceeding 90%, demonstrating the quality and relevance of our training programs.
- 1,493 graduates (83%) have secured employment within Kenya.
- 100+ graduates have gained international opportunities in Canada, Germany, the USA, the UK, and Saudi Arabia.
Growing a New Generation of ECD Leaders
Our alumni continue to make a meaningful impact:
- 52 graduates have started their own ECD centers, day care facilities, or related enterprises.
