Biography

Charles Osiemo is a dedicated educator and tutor with over 10 years of experience in teacher training . As a faculty member at Imara Teachers Training College, he specializes in ICT, KISWAHILI, EDUCATINAL, RESOURCES, ENVIRONMENTAL and HISTORICAL COMPARATIVE FOUNDATIOS OF EDUCATION, equipping teacher trainees with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in diverse learning environments.

Charles holds a  Diploma in Education and Bachelor of Education (ECDE) from  Mount Kenya University . His academic interests include Educational technology , early childhood development  learner-centered methodologies, and the integration of digital tools in teacher preparation. He has contributed to the application of competence based education and trained teachers for over a decade  . He regularly facilitates  CBE training for ECDE teachers and in-service teachers across different schools and training centers.

He is a contracted professional item writer and examiner with  Kenya national examination council(KNEC)  and also a Champion of teacher induction and Mentorship coach(TIMEC). Known for his engaging teaching style and Mentorship, Charles has facilitated and guided hundreds of student-teachers through practicum placements and professional development. He believes that great teaching begins with empathy and continues with lifelong learning.
